How many of you are completely comfortable with calling yourselves a leader? We have made leadership into something bigger than us. We've made it about changing the world. But leadership is not about changing the world. It's about a lollipop. A freshman year in college. A guy I barely knew handed me a lollipop and said, 'You need to run for something. You are a leader.' That one sentence changed my life. A lollipop moment. A moment where someone said or did something that fundamentally made your life better. We need to redefine leadership as being about lollipop moments.
